Sedona is gaining new visibility with international travelers, and Arizona Safari Jeep Tours was proud to help welcome one of the media groups sharing that story abroad.
As part of a hosted Arizona press trip connected to the new nonstop Taipei-to-Phoenix air service, a Taiwan media group visited Sedona in partnership with the City of Sedona Tourism Program and the Arizona Office of Tourism. The group included Taiwan travel media, STARLUX Airlines public relations representatives, and Arizona tourism partners.
Arizona Safari Jeep Tours was honored to host the group on our Rim Run Jeep Tour, a scenic off-road experience through Sedona’s red rock backcountry. We are grateful to the City of Sedona, the Arizona Office of Tourism, STARLUX Airlines, and the visiting media guests for the opportunity to be part of their Sedona experience.
The visit is already helping introduce Sedona to new travelers. Following the trip, Taiwanese travel writer Kelys Han of Kelys Lifeincluded Arizona Safari Jeep Tours in her Sedona travel coverage as one of the recommended ways to experience the area.
That kind of third-party coverage matters. It helps future travelers see Safari through the eyes of someone who was actually here, experienced the tour, and shared it with a Taiwan-based audience.

A Strong First Look at Sedona
For many visitors, especially those arriving from another country or building Sedona into a larger Arizona itinerary, the first experience matters.
The Rim Run Jeep Tour gave this group a direct introduction to Sedona’s landscape: red rock views, rugged desert terrain, open-air adventure, and local guide storytelling in one experience.
Instead of only seeing Sedona from town or through a windshield, the group rode into the backcountry with a guide who could connect the scenery to the history, geology, and character of the area.
That kind of context is especially valuable for travel writers and media guests. They are not just collecting photos. They are looking for the story of a destination.
Why Rim Run Works for Media Groups and Short Itineraries
The Rim Run Jeep Tour is a strong fit for travelers who want a true Sedona off-road experience without giving up the whole day.
That matters for hosted media groups, international visitors, day-trippers from Phoenix, and group itineraries with a packed schedule. Many travelers arrive with limited time, but still want an experience that feels specific to Sedona.
Rim Run delivers that balance. It is scenic, rugged, fun, and guided by locals who know the land. Guests can experience Sedona’s wilder side, learn more about the red rock landscape, and still have time for the rest of their day.
For this Taiwan media group, Rim Run helped set the tone for their Sedona visit.

Sedona’s New International Travel Opportunity
The timing of this visit was especially meaningful because Arizona is now more directly connected to Taiwan and Asia-Pacific travelers through the new nonstop Taipei-to-Phoenix air service.
That expanded access creates new opportunities for Sedona tourism. International travelers are often looking for experiences that are authentic, easy to plan, visually memorable, and rooted in the destination.
A guided Jeep tour brings those pieces together quickly.
It offers scenery, photography, adventure, local storytelling, and a real sense of place in one experience. For travelers discovering Sedona from another country, another language, or another travel market, that kind of guided introduction can make the destination feel easier to understand and more exciting to explore.
Part of Sedona’s International Tourism Story
Arizona Safari Jeep Tours appreciates the partnership with the City of Sedona and the Arizona Office of Tourism on this hosted media visit.
Partnerships like this help share Sedona with new travelers around the world, and we are proud to play a part in that story.
